I love Ubuntu Linux and am documenting my related experiences here, for my own personal reference. Although many of the concepts I discuss have a very broad scope, most of the material I post will be specific to my own environment. I am posting my references online, so that I can access them from anywhere, and can return to them in the future as needed. This blog is not a tutorial site, and my posts should definitely not be considered to be how to guides.

I AM NOT AN EXPERT! I am simply learning as I go, and venting online is part of my own learning process. Whenever possible, I will post links to all of the references I use, and if you are looking for help, follow the links and do not just rely on what I posted here. I am a computer professional with a computer science degree, but I work in a world dominated by Windows. Playing with Linux is essentially my hobby, and I have no formal training whatsoever. Pretty much everything I know comes from hours of research and lots of trial and error. So please use your best judgment pertaining to everything I have written, and when in doubt: follow my links, do a web search, or Read The F’n Manual!
